April Spice Club: Tarragon

Do you love to cook and want to try new flavors and recipes? Stop by the library and pick up this month’s Spice Club Kit, available on Monday, April 10.

In April, we are cooking with tarragon, a perennial herb that is sharp and spicy, with notes of anise, fennel, and vanilla. Included in this month’s kit is a sample of tarragon, recipes, and information along with tips on propagating and growing the herb.

Registration is not required, but supplies are limited. Spice Kits can be picked up at the Main Circulation Desk, on a first-come, first-served basis.

This program, generously supported by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and intended for ages 13 and over.

Check here for Cloves, Cumin, Coriander, Black Pepper, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Garam Masala, Turmeric, Ginger, and others.
